Parenting Toddlers and Pre-Schoolers

3 Muskiteros na Kulitos

I have to admit, I am a nagging and yelling mom most especially if I have told my kids to stop horsing around and yet they would not heed to my call. Sometimes my patience grow thin even when dealing with my pre-schooler (Jeon). I especially hate it when he wakes up in the morning to go to school and he whines a lot. I know that I should not react to his actions, but sometimes I can't help but yell back at my pre-schooler child. Then I came across some parenting forum on ways to stop yelling and nagging. I know these tips can be helpful to moms with toddlers and pre-schooler kids.

  1. Tune in to yourself; there are days when moms patience seem to be very thin most especially if it is the time of the month. In days like these, find something relaxing to do first before dealing with your children. This could somehow set your mood and there is no need to yell when disciplining the children.
  2. Remember they are kids, so it is better to treat them as kids and not adults. Admit it or not, we often utter words like "You're no longer a baby, you should know how to do it".  We should lower our expectations to our toddlers and pre-schoolers, learn about the developmental stage of the kids and we would know what is appropriate to their age.
  3. Do the reverse, if the little kids would not listen to you even if you are shouting at the top of your lungs; then whisper everything. In this manner they will be curious on what you have to say to them; the challenge now lies on how you can speak softly even if you are angry.
These are some of the things that moms (and dads) should remember when parenting toddlers and pre-schoolers; it worked for other parents I guess there is no harm of giving it a shot. Who know it might work and it will spare us from the sore throat we get when we often yell. Parenting toddlers and pre-schoolers can be less stressful if we know how to deal with our little ones.

Popular Baby Girl Names

Google for the photo

I am in search of a baby girl name, oops! it's not for my future baby; it is for cousin's future daughter. She is due this coming April and we are searching and researching for the right name for their baby girl.

There were so many suggestions and we have read baby names books and checked the internet for the perfect name for the baby. They have a name in mind, and it is Aerith, however they are still undecided whether to use it as a first name or middle name of the baby. The name was derived from the female character of the Final Fantasy.
Google for the photo
There are so many reasons why parent decide on a particular name for their children. Others would follow the name of their child with their names; in the old generation names are followed on the name of the saints on the date their children were born. Now, there are parents who named their children after the famous personalities.

As for my kids, I chose the name that would suit their last names. I think it is quite awkward to name a child with a foreign sounding name but the last name is so Filipino. But then again, to each his own.

I hope you can give us ideas on what could be the best name to pair with AERITH; it would be very much appreciated by our family.

My Boy Lollipop

Jeon dancing to the tune of My Boy Lollipop
Last Thursday, 28th of October my son Jeon once again joined another school event. This is actually his 4th time to participate in school events (Nutrition month in July, Buwan ng Wika in August and October would be World Teacher's Day and the school's foundation day). This time his elder brothers were able to go with us because they are on school break) and also his Mama Sha went along with us too.
Kuya Jet, Jeon, Kuya Gab, Mama Sha and Mommy
We went to the event early (the picture will show that we were the first ones to arrive at the venue); so we can get better seats in the front row. However, some undisciplined parents were thick enough to stand in front of our seats thereby blocking our view. I was irritated with such actions and started complaining to these people. A mom then reacted that I should not complain because that's just the way it is. Her reasons were so lame and in fact she admitted that I was right, but since majority do it that way then I should go along with them. (Hmmm..I wonder how she discipline her child with such outlook in life).

I was so irritated before the program started, when I saw my son standing in front among the group of other students his age. I felt so proud! He performed well and was flashing his sweet smile every time he sees us.
another one of his dance moves learn from his teachers
His performance was a success and because of that we treated the kids for a lunch out in one of their favorite restaurant. It such a memorable day for me;  I've learned my lesson never to argue with people who are narrow-minded or they will ruin your entire day and even your entire life. We are looking forward to another performance of Jeon this coming December.

TCP Entry: Ratatouille

" Last night, I experienced something new, an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for Chef Gusteau's famous motto: Anyone can cook. But I realize, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere."; quote from Anton Ego the food critic in the movie Ratatouille.

photo not mine thanks to Google

This movie has become a favorite movie of my family. It showed how men and animals (Remy and Linguini) can work and live in harmony if they wanted to. Another moral lesson of this film is that, the good will always triumph over evil. See what happened to Chef Skinner, he was kicked out of the restaurant.

I hope that everytime we watch a film, my kids will remember the lessons learned from it as well as the quality time we spent together.

Jeon Said

My four-year old son seem to be to smart for his age. There are moments when he gives witty remarks, ask "silly" questions and utter words of "wisdom" from a pre-schooler's point of view. I hope you will enjoy some of his remarks, most of them in the Filipino but I will be translating it to English.

Scene 1: One dinner time
His kuya Gab stood up to get himself a drinking glass
JEON said (using his Mommy-like tone)" Aba! Aba! Aba! tapos ka ng kumain? Konti palang nakain mo ah, tatayo ka na agad"
(Hey!hey!Hey! you're done eating? You have barely eaten your meal and you are already standing)
All of us were laughing after hearing him talk to his elder brother that way.

Scene 2: Lunch time
Mommy would never eat with her favorite soda served on the table, then without asking permission Jeon's elder brothers took the bottle of soda and pour into their glasses. Jeon again made a remark to his brothers
JEON said: "Kuya, ano ka ba yung softdrinks pang Mommy lang yan di pwede sa family yan. Mommy lang iinom nyn sa umaga, lunch at gabi..db noh Mommy?"
(Kuya, the soda is only for Mom, family members are not supposed to drink soda. Only Mommy can drink soda in the morning, lunch and night, am I right Mommy?"

Scene 3: Homework Time
After coming home from school, it is part of our routine that Jeon and I will be doing his homework. But since his dad is at home, I asked my husband to be the one to assist him. They finished doing all the homework in a breeze; then I was teasing Jeon that all the homework were wrong. I continue doing that for couple of minutes and then he blurted " Mommy, na high-blood na ko syo ah. di ba Mommy yung high-blood yung naiinis? kaya na high-blood na ko syo" (Mommy my blood pressure is rising, Mommy isn't high blood means that you are getting annoyed; that's why I am getting high blood pressure from you)

Not Good at Time Management

It's been a month since I got this full time writing job and I am really very thankful for it. (Hmmm..who can resist a very nice offer?) I've been writing full time and also getting additional writing assignments from other bloggers; and did I mention that I am also a part-time Virtual Assistant? All of these jobs are courtesy of my boss, Fedhz..hihihi..Oh I forgot, I am also into writing ebook.
Did somebody mention that we only have 24 hours in one day? Geez! how can I squeeze in all these tasks in one day and at the same time be a Mom to my kids and a loving wife to my hubby? The answer is, I DON'T KNOW! With all these writing jobs plus the errands in running our entire household, my hands are definitely full everyday and even during the weekends. Sad to say but it means lesser time to enjoy watching movies with my family.
It is hard to manage time, and to be honest I am never good with time management. I am not sure with other writers, but for me, once the ideas are flowing inside my mind I need to write it or else; it would vanish into thin air. Things are made a lot easier because I have my kids (Jet, Gab and Jeon ) to help me in doing the household chores. My hubby who is not busy with work this time is also a big help. That is why whenever I get my payout, I have to make sure that we treat ourselves with a lot of yummy food.
I am working hard for the money to have something to spend for my kids. I would not want to burden my hubby with all the responsibilities in terms of our finances. As of now, I am enjoying my job and although I have little complaints because I can no longer have my siesta time, I am still very thankful for the additional income that we are receiving. I will do everything and anything for my kids, with or without my hubby to depend on (but thank God, he is there for me too!)

Frantic Turned Proud

I admit I am guilty; I have been spending too much time writing articles; I forgot to double check Jeon's assignments. I became complacent because my hubby was here and he was the one helping Jeon out with his school works. Morning of October 5th, I read Lani's (Jeon's classmate Leanne's mom) comment on my Facebook status. She was asking me if I will go with my son at SM Clark for the school program. I became frantic after reading it. I didn't know that he is part of the school program. I asked my hubby if he read about it in our son's reminder notebooks. He said he didn't. Immediately I sent SMS to my cousin who is a teacher in that school. She confirmed that there is a school program scheduled that day. Even though I was not really feeling well that time, I prepared to attend the event. Just in time when my son came back from school. He said that he is part of the program but does not know what to wear. OMG! What am I supposed to do? My hubby decided that he wears smart casual outfit and to bring the PE uniform. It was the right decision, because they don't have costume, they just need to wear the best outfit.
To make the long story short, we made it through the event. My hubby and are were really proud to see our youngest son dance on the stage. All smiles and doing his best in this Teacher's Day event. Our frowns and worries before the event started were changed into big smiles.

True Happiness

me and my family
For the past couple of days, I've been spending the whole day with my hubby . He is on a paid vacation leave and for the past three years that he has been working; this is the only time he was able to rest well. No phone calls or texts messages to take. When he was not around, I keep my eye on how much I eat. I have been trying to lose weight for the past couple of months. I was already on my way to achieving it; until he filed his vacation leave. Now, I am back to zero (OMG! all the hard work failed) But it's okay! I can also go back to losing weight when he gets back to work. And that is still a week away from now.

During the time he is here, I have come to realized that my hubby and my kids are the reason for my true happiness. Money can't buy you happiness. We live on paycheck to paycheck and most often we are having hard time to make ends meet. Money is scarce but our happiness is abundant. Enough to keep us going; and more than enough to give us good sleep at night.

I am lucky to have such understanding children. They don't expect too much material things from us (we are lucky to have Mamita to take care of this). Although most kids today are into gadgets; my kids enjoy the simple life that we have. At their young age; they are aware that happiness cannot be measured with the material possessions.

My hubby and my kids are my great source of happiness. My only source of true happiness.

Mead Johnson Nutrition clarifies issues on Philippine FDA order

Responding to an administrative recall order from the Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to remove current supplies from distribution and sale, Mead Johnson Nutrition (MJN) Philippines assured consumers that there is no safety issue with the products Alactagrow® and Sustagen.

The Philippine FDA has issued a Class III order, the lowest level, which is used for products that have technical compliance issues. The regulatory definition of a Class III order specifically states that the use of or exposure to the product “is not likely to cause adverse health consequences.”

“Safety is Mead Johnson’s highest priority and the company spares no effort to comply with the laws of all of the countries in which it operates,” said Paul Richards, President and General Manager of Mead Johnson Nutrition Philippines. “All of the company’s products are produced in accordance with the CODEX Code of Hygienic Practice for Foods for Infants and Children.”

The Philippine FDA said it was issuing the order because the fat content in the products is below the new standard listed in the revised CODEX Standards for Follow-Up Formula, which it has recently adopted in the Philippines.

Richards explained that when the Philippine FDA recently adopted additional CODEX regulations applying specifically to follow-up formulas, Mead Johnson proactively cooperated and has stayed in frequent communication with the Philippine FDA to ensure that Mead Johnson products would continue to be available for the families that use them, and in compliance with the new regulations. The process of reformulating the products so that they comply with the new CODEX regulations is elaborate and requires considerable time so Mead Johnson requested a renewed Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) prior to the end of the product’s term. CODEX is an international organization that develops and promotes food standards.

"Our company is committed to bringing safe, effective, nutritious and high quality products to meet the nutritional needs of the Philippines’ children," said Richards.

Richards said they were surprised by the recall orders, but said they are committed to resolving the issue with the Philippine FDA so that Mead Johnson can continue to offer the children in the Philippines the many nutritional benefits of Alactagrow and Sustagen Junior.

Mead Johnson stressed that all of their products currently sold in the Philippines, including Alactagrow and Sustagen Junior, have passed stringent Philippine FDA health and safety requirements and are considered to be safe for consumption and of high quality.  While the fat level requirement does not relate to the safety or quality of the product, Mead Johnson is taking steps to meet that requirement also.

Mead Johnson is launching today a reformulated version of Alactagrow that meets the new regulatory requirements.  Work is also underway to develop an updated version of Sustagen to meet the revised standards.

Richards emphasized that Mead Johnson is committed to its mission to nourish the world’s children for the best start in life. Mead Johnson is involved in efforts to address malnutrition through a country-wide feeding and growth-monitoring program called Feeding Hope in partnership with Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the non-government organization Kabisig ng Kalahi. In addition, since 1991 Mead Johnson has provided sustained support to children afflicted with rare metabolic diseases.

Consumer health and collaboration with the government and the Food and Drug Administration are Mead Johnson’s top priorities. The company has been for some time and is currently in regular contact with the Philippine FDA regarding the recall and the Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) for the affected products.

No Need to Worry Mommies

Mommies may have  been really worried when they heard the news about the milk products of Mead Johnson: Alactagrow and Sustagen Junior. The news said that the fat content of these products are not within the recommended value. In line with this; Mead Johnson issued statement to clarify the issue. Here is what Mead Johnson has to say about the issue:

“Safety is Mead Johnson’s highest priority and the company spares no effort to comply with the laws of all of the countries in which it operates,” said Paul Richards, President and General Manager of Mead Johnson Nutrition Philippines. “All of the company’s products are produced in accordance with the CODEX Code of Hygienic Practice for Foods for Infants and Children.”

The issue arise when the Philippine FDA has recently made changes in the CODEX regulations specifically on the follow-up formulas. CODEX is an international organization which aim to delvelop and promote food standards. The formulas in the market right now has passed the stringent rules of Philippine FDA. So the Mom's out there need not worry about buying  these two Mead Johnson milk products. At present Mead Johnson has launched the newly reformulated version of Alactagrow and Sustagen Junior.

"Our company is committed to bringing safe, effective, nutritious and high quality products to meet the nutritional needs of the Philippines’ children," said Richards.

Our community can still expect assistance from Mead Johnson most especially when it comes to feeding program. It will remain part of Feeding Hope program initiated by DSWD which aim to feed and monitor the growth so Filipino children.

Sunday is Family Day

Woke up a little bit late, it's weekend we can stay up as late as we want to and there is no need to worry about not being to stand up when the alarm clock rings. (This is the major reason why I love the weekends!) Me, hubby and the kids went to Lola Naty's place; this is our routine every Sunday. We had our delicious lunch at their place; fried tilapia with raddish and tomatoes and also chicken asado (yummy! I forgot my diet again!). After lunch, we just lay around enjoying the lazy Sunday afternoon. The kids are inside the computer shop because it was hot and humid outside.

A little bit later, we had to attend a children's party; which means food, food and food again. (bye bye diet). During the party, Jeon was a bit shy to join the games. What my husband did was to convince him to join the game and promised that he will be there in front, cheering for him. Jeon join the game and he enjoyed it; the next game where kids and adults are needed to join the game. So hubby and Jeon were partners; and were part of the winning team. Then another game for adults was held, without batting an eyelash, hubby join the game again. Hubby enjoyed the party as much as the kids did. When its time to eat, my husband finished the entire meal served to him. Oh boy! he was really tired because of those games.

My boys are all tired, they did not even bother to eat dinner. Upon reaching home, they just relaxed a bit and hit the bed. When my boys (Jet, Gab, Jeon and my hubby Joey) are all asleep they all look so angelic. Tomorrow is another day to be thankful for, as of now, I am thanking the Almighty for giving me such wonderful children and a loving husband.

Is Your Child Gifted?

My little big boy, Jeon is very active and curious boy. He constantly ask questions and most of the times I ran out of sensible answers. His development milestones were unusual compare to other kids who are his age.

I've come across some reading materials which made me wonder whether my little big boy is simply bright or is he a gifted child? He is already 4-years old and is currently in Nursery level. Lately, he begins to enjoy school but during his first couple of weeks he always thought that his classmates are all babies.

How do we differentiate a bright child from a gifted child? Based  on my readings here are the difference between the two:
  •  A bright child would typically know the answers to so many questions; on the other hand, a gifted child would continue to ask questions based on your answers.
  • Bright kids enjoy the company of kids of the same age while the gifted children love the company of older kids and even the adults.
  • Bright children would pay close attention on a particular object; gifted children are extremely observant of their surroundings and loves to get involved.
  • A bright kid is a good listener thus he or she is able to follow instructions very well. Gifted kid would normally express and discuss their ideas and have the desire to work on their own.
Gifted children can be considered as bright kids too but not all bright kids are genius. Bright kids word hard to get good grades but gifted children can just play around yet achieve high scores on exams. However, gifted kids would not get good grades all the time too, since they are very critical of themselves and are highly perfectionists they would rather not submit a project if it did not pass their qualifications.

Whether your child is gifted or simply bright, you have to be thankful for it; show support in all the things that he would want to do. Guidance is also important, you are lucky to have one smart-pants in your family so enjoy it.

Home Alone

I can't actually remember the last time I was left home alone. The kids spent the weekends at their Lola Naty's place and hubby went out to attend his stated meeting with his Freemason brothers. So that left me alone in our home sweet home. I took the chance to finish household chores like clean our house. Although I know for a fact that the moment the kids step inside the house, everything will be topsy-turvy again. Messing up the house became a habit for them most especially to my youngest son.

I finished the laundry as well and did some writing assignments. I have updated my status in Facebook a lot of times too. Now here I am updating my blog, after this, what else am I going to do? OMG! I never thought that life can be so boring without hearing my kids whine over small things. I have gotten used to having them around, in fact I can even find time to take a nap despite their noise.

I have all the time in the palm of my hands right now, but I don't know what to do! I remember the story I have read long time ago; there were two moms complaining how rowdy their kids are and how messy their house is and then from behind them another mom shared her story. She said that she would not mind having to pick up her kids toys all the time; their house is filled with silence because a tragedy happened to their family that caused the lives of her children. This story left the two moms dumb-founded.

Truly you would never realize the value of a person until he or she is no longer at your beck-and-call. Mothers have the tendency to be too uptight without realizing that our kids are growing older and soon they will be entering their own world wherein you may not be  even allowed to enter.

It's nice to be on your own sometimes but I am sure most moms would agree with me, your kids voice shouting at the top of their lungs is actually a pleasing sound to a mother's ear.

Kudos to My Little Big Boy

Mommy and Jeon during Nutrition Month
Today we got the periodic report of grades for our little big boy, Jeon Aenied; his daddy and I are so proud of him because he ranked 5th among the 20 students in their class. This is not surprising though, because beauty and brains is in his genes. Do I sound like a stage mom?

Actually, during his first week in school we were very worried that he might not want to continue schooling. He did that the first time we enrolled him; he only spent three days in school at that time. But this time around, he is so eager in going to school. In fact at his age he is so independent, he no longer wants me to stay with him in school.

It is still a couple of months away before the school year ends but his dad and I are confident that he will finish the entire school year this time around. So to our son Jeon Aenied, your dad and I are so proud of you. Keep up the good work son.

Babysitter 101

Going through this article made me realize how lenient I am in choosing a babysitter. I remember a time trusting someone who just went to our house and applied to be a babysitter; only to realize later on that a lot of our things were stolen by her.
A trusted friend can be a good referral of a babysitter. But relying on the words of your friend alone is no longer sufficient. On your part, you need to require some police clearance and health clearance as well. Because we are actually entrusting the safety and welfare of our children to these babysitters. So we really need to be critical in choosing the right babysitter.
Although anyone can be a babysitter, like what the article mentioned finding a babysitter who is already matured in age can make you feel more comfortable than hiring a teenager. There are teenagers who are matured and responsible but they are still teenagers, and they still have the tendency to combine work and pleasure. This may result into something which is not good.
As mentioned again in the article, if you have no choice but to hire a teenage babysitter, it is best that you meet with the parents of the babysitter. At least the babysitter's folks would know that anything that may happen to the child while under the watch of the babysitter, it will be his or her responsibility.
Indeed, finding the right babysitter for your child can be difficult, but if you know the steps and guidelines in choosing one; then you can have a peace of mind while you are away from your child.

Children and Divorce

Now that the issue of divorce is being once again pushed by  our legislators; we ask the question again, in a country like ours, do we really need to have the Divorce Law? Ours is a catholic nation, and amongst the nations worldwide, Philippines is one of the two countries which do not have a divorce law.

To the moralists, it is safe for them to say that we don't need such law because it corrupts the essence of having a strong family ties. But to a woman who suffers abuses from her husband is totally a different story. Most especially if children are involved in the abuses.

A divorce can be traumatic to the ex-couple, but it can be even harder for the children. Tons of reasons can be attributed to come up with a decision to part ways for the couples. When a couple decides to have a divorce, what they truly consider is their own self.  Secondary consideration will be their children. Children and divorce are two things that is very hard to resolve.

But several studies and researches showed that there is a big impact on the lives of the children if their parents decide to get a divorce. Children have this feeling that they have to choose between the two parents. They would never want to do that for the fear of hurting the other parent that they did not choose. Children and divorce is not easily for the couple who decided to have one.

Parents should keep in mind that it is only their ex-partner that they had a divorce and not their children. So it means that the relationship between parents and children should not be strained by this decision. They should keep in mind that their children are going through a different phase as they are right now. Children will feel a little relieved if they know that their parents will still be parents to them despite the decision to part ways. There is nothing more stressful for a child but to choose who among his parents he would love more. Obligations as parents should not be forgotten.

Children and divorce should be dealt individually. There are millions of kids affected by divorce. As parents struggle to pick up the pieces of the broken relationship they had with their ex-partner. Not all divorced parents end up as friends. So once the parents decide to divorce, its hard for them to become parent in the first part of the process of their own healing.

There are certain institutions that will help children to cope up with the divorce of their parents. Changes in children’s behavior may manifest. If they are older kids, they might neglect their studies. Some would turn to their friends for comfort. It is a blessing if children have good friends. They may act as their social support amidst the trial that the children are going through. However, if the set of friends that they have are on the other side of the fence. Children are easier to influence to do or imitate bad habits.

It is also important for the parents to explain to the kids the reason behind the divorce. They may skip other sensitive details, what is important is you give them justifications for the decision that you came up. Parents should not leave their children from speculating the reasons behind the decision. Because some would think that they are part of the reason why their parents decided to divorce. An assurance that you are still committed parents to your children will somehow ease the stress that they are undergoing as well.

Flower Talk

My hubby and I were invited to witness the public installation of officers for the Order of DeMolay; it was my first time to go to such event. I have no idea on what to expect, what I thought that it will be just the ceremony of the bunch of teens who are going to receive more responsibilities on their organization. My hubby being a part of the Free and Accepted Masons, serves as one of the guiding lights of the members of the Order of DeMolay. To show support, I went with him to be a part of this event.

I am sure glad that I went along with my husband; if not I could have not seen the most touching part of the installation of officers. One of the newly installed officer gave the Flower Talk. The Flower Talk is a part wherein the young gentlemen of this Order would give honor to their mothers. I was so touched with the Flower Talk and I could not help but shed tears. (Most moms actually did!).

Why am I so affected with the Flower Talk? well, simply because I have three boys. My gosh! they are growing faster than I thought; and pretty soon they will be spending less and less time with their parents most especially their mommies. There will come a time wherein you are not even sure if your kids will allow you to enter in their own world.

The Flower Talk tells us mothers that despite the strong facade that we see among our children most especially teenage boys; they are still the little babies that we once hold in our arms. The Flower Talk imparts the message to other young gentlemen of the Order to let their mothers know how much they love them. Life is too short to be taken for granted. It is important to say our appreciation for all the things our mothers did for us and to tell them how much we love them. I wish to hear one of my kids deliver the Flower Talk. If ever that time will come; it will be like holding your son again for the first time.

24-hour work

Being a fulltime mother is a tough job, what more to a working mom and hands-on mother like me. unlike the usual 8-hour job with days off, this job is 24 hours and no days off. You don't need a degree to get this job. In my case, I have 3 sons. and of course, they are of different ages. so it means, they have different needs. for

my eldest son, an 8-yr old boy, he easily gets bored with everything. he even told me that he wants to work and to try showbusiness. so that i don't need to work anymore. and he doesnt want to play with his kid brothers because for him they are a bunch of babies. so i have to think of things that will not only stimulate his mind but his body as well, specially this summer. good thing there are summer camps, and i will definitely look for one that will interest him.

my middle child an incoming grader, is now enrolled to summer classes that will enhance his math and reading skills. huh, now talk about being hands-on, can't even assist my son with his lessons. but aside from these classes, he also wants to have a voice lesson. how i wish money are just like trash which can be picked up anywhere.
so i have to explain things to him and make him understand that, we need to prioritize things which are really important.

my youngest, a one-yr old toddler, is hyper-active. i need to be on my toes all the time. because he can easily climb the stairs. now talk about a taurine-rich kid. you cant spank or scold this kid, because he knows how to win your heart. once he sees you looking angry, he will come near you and say "sorry na ha". with that innocent smile and look, it will definitely melt your heart away.

working in the office wont give me the greatest satisfaction that i have whenever i see my kids asleep. how i wish i can just stop the time so that they will remain kids forever. and i will be able to protect them all the time. but in reality, its not possible, someday, these kids will look for friends and things that will interest them. i can only guide them, but i cant make decisions for them.

nah, why do i need to worry about that right now. that is still very far from now. what i will do is to spend time with them and cherish every moment that i have with my sons. after all, they will always be my babies.my balong.my saputi.and my bachikchik..
