Ads of Facebook

Since Facebook hits almost the same traffic as that of Google, many businesses found this avenue to be useful for them. In a normal Facebook page, on the right side of the screen are advertisements from different companies, organizations, groups and even certain personalities.
Most of the internet users are also Facebook account holders. For whatever reasons they may have in setting up a facebook account, these people log in to their account on a daily basis. It is either they want to get updates on the lives of the people in their network or they just want to enjoy the applications in Facebook.
An opportunity for product and services exposure was seen by the business people. However, to differentiate facebook .com ads from the ads that we see in other search engine site such as Google and Yahoo; facebook.com ads used the keywords “Likes and Interests”. If you see the ads, you will see a like button below it.
So if you are interested on the advertisement, or agree on what you read; you can just hit the button like and it will show a thumb up sign. You can unlike the advertisement anytime as well. And if you want to get further details of the advertisement just click on the link. There you will have in-depth information about the certain products or services.
Now if you have a Facebook business account, facebook.com ads allow you to create and advertise your own business. You can place a banner on a certain facebook page, an interesting copy will make Facebook users click on your link. And if you plan to create an ad, you should have a specific website wherein Facebook users will be directed to.
A Faceboook ad is consists of a maximum of 25 characters for the ad title, and the ad copy should make up to a maximum of 135 characters. With these limitations on your ad, you should be able to maximize it by making sure that it will catch the attention at least a portion of the Facebook users. Take into consideration your target market for your products and services. After you have decided to publish the advertisement, payment can easily be done using your plastic money.
This will be like a test, if your ad is beneficial to your product, then you can decide to continue the advertisement. If not, you can again come up with a more exciting and more interesting ads in order to generate more clicks on the advertisement.
Whether in Facebook or in any other sites in the internet, the ad title and the ad copy can be of big help on making your advertisement successful.  So think of the best ad title and ad copy that can boost the image and the market of your business or organization. Remember that Facebook users rarely check on the ads that they see, but if they read something interesting. They will surely find time to read about the advertisement.

Little Big Boy

My youngest son Jeon is now in Nursery, gone are the mornings of telling him to clean up his mess and put his toys inside the toy box once he is done. Now, my mornings are quite quiet and I felt kinda weird about it.

During his first month in school, I go with him and wait until his classes are through. But recently my hubby and I decided that we hire a school service to pick him up to and from the school. On his first day in school service, I was with him.

But when he saw that some of his classmates ride the school service alone, he requested to do it himself. It was a bit odd for him to request such, because he always wants to have Mommy by his side. I gave in to his request. I can still remember the date that was 21st of July; the first time my son went to school alone.

It was a big leap for my son, he is now starting to do things on his own. I thought I would love the "Me" time that I have; I can't help but to feel a bit sentimental about it. I know that sooner, my son will be a grown up man and would decide things for himself. My little big boy still enjoys mommy's kisses and hugs; I know pretty soon he will feel awkward in doing that.

In Celebration of Nutrition Month

July is considered as Nutrition Month, most schools would prepare nutrition related activities. Some would have a Nutri Quizbee while others would simply prepare nutritious food to be enjoyed by the entire class. For my son's school they had to perform as the culminating activity of the Nutrition Month.

As for our little big boy, since this is his first time to go to school; it is also his first time to dance on stage as part of the school program for Nutrition Month. Although he was a bit shy at first, but he was able to finish the dance without crying. Unlike the other preschoolers who were also part of the program; I am proud to say that our Jeon did well.

Children and Divorce

Now that the issue of divorce is being once again pushed by  our legislators; we ask the question again, in a country like ours, do we really need to have the Divorce Law? Ours is a catholic nation, and amongst the nations worldwide, Philippines is one of the two countries which do not have a divorce law.

To the moralists, it is safe for them to say that we don't need such law because it corrupts the essence of having a strong family ties. But to a woman who suffers abuses from her husband is totally a different story. Most especially if children are involved in the abuses.

A divorce can be traumatic to the ex-couple, but it can be even harder for the children. Tons of reasons can be attributed to come up with a decision to part ways for the couples. When a couple decides to have a divorce, what they truly consider is their own self.  Secondary consideration will be their children. Children and divorce are two things that is very hard to resolve.

But several studies and researches showed that there is a big impact on the lives of the children if their parents decide to get a divorce. Children have this feeling that they have to choose between the two parents. They would never want to do that for the fear of hurting the other parent that they did not choose. Children and divorce is not easily for the couple who decided to have one.

Parents should keep in mind that it is only their ex-partner that they had a divorce and not their children. So it means that the relationship between parents and children should not be strained by this decision. They should keep in mind that their children are going through a different phase as they are right now. Children will feel a little relieved if they know that their parents will still be parents to them despite the decision to part ways. There is nothing more stressful for a child but to choose who among his parents he would love more. Obligations as parents should not be forgotten.

Children and divorce should be dealt individually. There are millions of kids affected by divorce. As parents struggle to pick up the pieces of the broken relationship they had with their ex-partner. Not all divorced parents end up as friends. So once the parents decide to divorce, its hard for them to become parent in the first part of the process of their own healing.

There are certain institutions that will help children to cope up with the divorce of their parents. Changes in children’s behavior may manifest. If they are older kids, they might neglect their studies. Some would turn to their friends for comfort. It is a blessing if children have good friends. They may act as their social support amidst the trial that the children are going through. However, if the set of friends that they have are on the other side of the fence. Children are easier to influence to do or imitate bad habits.

It is also important for the parents to explain to the kids the reason behind the divorce. They may skip other sensitive details, what is important is you give them justifications for the decision that you came up. Parents should not leave their children from speculating the reasons behind the decision. Because some would think that they are part of the reason why their parents decided to divorce. An assurance that you are still committed parents to your children will somehow ease the stress that they are undergoing as well.

Flower Talk

My hubby and I were invited to witness the public installation of officers for the Order of DeMolay; it was my first time to go to such event. I have no idea on what to expect, what I thought that it will be just the ceremony of the bunch of teens who are going to receive more responsibilities on their organization. My hubby being a part of the Free and Accepted Masons, serves as one of the guiding lights of the members of the Order of DeMolay. To show support, I went with him to be a part of this event.

I am sure glad that I went along with my husband; if not I could have not seen the most touching part of the installation of officers. One of the newly installed officer gave the Flower Talk. The Flower Talk is a part wherein the young gentlemen of this Order would give honor to their mothers. I was so touched with the Flower Talk and I could not help but shed tears. (Most moms actually did!).

Why am I so affected with the Flower Talk? well, simply because I have three boys. My gosh! they are growing faster than I thought; and pretty soon they will be spending less and less time with their parents most especially their mommies. There will come a time wherein you are not even sure if your kids will allow you to enter in their own world.

The Flower Talk tells us mothers that despite the strong facade that we see among our children most especially teenage boys; they are still the little babies that we once hold in our arms. The Flower Talk imparts the message to other young gentlemen of the Order to let their mothers know how much they love them. Life is too short to be taken for granted. It is important to say our appreciation for all the things our mothers did for us and to tell them how much we love them. I wish to hear one of my kids deliver the Flower Talk. If ever that time will come; it will be like holding your son again for the first time.

Home Sweet Home

Pangilinan Residence at Calle 49
June 15, 2010 was the day we formally moved in to our new home. What we just brought in were the stuff that we already had before; nothing new except for our beds. My hubby was more concern about our sleeping area rather than the entire look of the house. So the savings that we had were used to buy beds for us and the kids.

We had no living room and dining set, we sat on the floor to watch tv and still sat on the floor to eat our meals. This was our set up for a couple of weeks. Thank God my mom saw our pictures and volunteered to buy the furniture that we need for our new home.

The kids were so excited when they saw the delivery truck in front of our house. My youngest son was so proud that he is even shouting that we already have our furniture. After a couple of days more, another blessing came from my mom again; she wants me to purchase an air conditioner for her grand kids. So I did that when she sent the money to buy it.

Now our home looks more improved than it was when we moved it. Little by little we try to put things in order. My gave something again to set up a landscape outside the house. I am optimistic that before the year ends, it will almost look like our dream home

Flip flops A Must this Summer

Summer is the best time to enjoy the cool water of the beach and frolic in the seashore. To refresh ourselves on the summer heat, a dip in a pool or sea is a big relief. As we pack our beach bags there are certain things that we must not forget to bring.
For the basics of course, a lotion with SPF will keep our skin healthy and far from being burnt by the summer heat. Bring along your best sunglasses to protect your eyes from the scorch of the sunlight especially in midday. The most flattering and comfortable swimsuit for the ladies and swimming trunks or board shorts for the gentlemen will make you enjoy the cool waters even more.
For the footwear, it is best that you coordinate your swimming attire with the best flip flops. Flip flops has become a vital part of your swimming attire. You can not just go to the pool or the beach bare footed, I am pretty sure you would not want your dainty feet to have blisters.
Flip flops vs sandals; the best choice is still to wear flip flops because not all sandals are suitable to wear near the waters. But flip flops can be worn even in the waters. You do not need to worry about it getting all drenched and wet; you are assured that even after you are done enjoying your swimming, you can still rely on your trendy flip flops.
Double check your list of things to bring and start packing and head on to your next summer destination. Another must bring is your camera, to give you remembrance of the summer adventure that you are about to experience. Surely you can enjoy your vacation if you plan things ahead it will avoid inconvenience for you.
